The POGA-ML model ensemble mean 200mb geopotential height (contours) and precipitation (colors) regressed onto a six year low-pass filtered timeseries of precipitation in the Great Plains for the period 1856 to 2000. The model was forced with observed SSTs in the tropical Pacific only and computed the SSTs elsewhere.
